McKenzie L. Walker, PsyD
Licensed Psychologist/Owner

A little bit about me: I am a licensed clinical psychologist serving a clientele from Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, York and surrounding counties. I am a graduate of Millersville University where I enjoyed playing Field Hockey (Go Marauders!) during my undergraduate studies, receiving a degree in psychology with a minor in athletic coaching. I remained at Millersville to complete my M.S. degree in psychology before moving on to obtain both a master's and a doctorate of psychology degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). I am an avid sports fan and animal enthusiast and can often be found watching and cheering on my favorite teams in the company of my family and our recue Pittie, Nola Brees.
I have been trained in and hold a certificate for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is the basis of my approach to overall treatment. In addition to CBT, I often utilizes principles of motivational interviewing and view all treatment with trauma-informed care. Skills and techniques from a variety of additional facets of therapy are used to tailor individual treatment and goals. My current focus is based on individual and family therapy and providing psychological testing and assessments including comprehensive batteries and neuropsychological batteries. I also engage in work focused on Family Law/Guardian Ad Litem and Mediation.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia (Go Eagles!). I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Millersville University before obtaining my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). My training is strongly rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which uses evidence-based techniques to help clients gain awareness into problematic and unhealthy thinking patterns. Together, we will take a collaborative approach in helping you gain insight, change behavior, and ultimately live a happier and healthier lifestyle. I am an optimist by nature, and practice accordingly from a strengths-based perspective, helping individuals identify and use their natural strengths to work through challenging times. I have held positions at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Fairmount Behavioral Health, Cooper University Hospital, Child and Adolescent Anxiety Disorders Clinic at Temple University, and most recently Geisinger Health System. A few areas of specialization include the treatment anxiety and depression, crisis management, trauma-informed care, health psychology (working with the psychological and behavioral effects of medical conditions), family therapy, and behavior and anger management for children and adolescents. I strongly believe that individuals of all ages can benefit from the power of learning how they can build resiliency in the face of adversity and life stress, and how to capitalize on the positive moments that life brings.

Sierra Barnett-Hall, PsyD
Licensed Psychologist
sbarnetthall@thebhwa.com
I am a licensed psychologist and I graduated with bachelor’s degree in psychology (with a minor in art history!) from the University of Maryland, College Park. I then went on to complete my master’s degree in clinical psychology at The American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Northern Virginia and my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington DC.
My training is strongly rooted in a cognitive-behavioral approach, but I incorporate a variety of strategies and techniques into my clinical work. I also approach therapy from a holistic and strengths-based perspective. My first focus in therapy is to establish a positive therapeutic relationship and strong rapport with my clients as I firmly believe this to be the foundation on which good therapeutic work and progress is built. I strive to provide a safe, open, and collaborative environment in which we work together to identify and tailor specific treatment needs and goals.
I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients of all ages with a wide range of symptoms, challenges, and needs. I have held positions at practices in Northern Virginia to include Prince William Family Counseling, The Wellness Connection, and Pediatric Specialists of Virginia. Most recently, I held a position at WellSpan Philhaven Behavioral Health in York, PA providing outpatient therapy to clients of all ages. Through my position at WellSpan I also had the opportunity to integrate my work into a primary care pediatric office offering solution-focused brief treatment to children, adolescents, and their families. I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment difficulties, behavioral concerns and ODD in children and adolescents, parenting work, encopresis and enuresis in children, general emotion and anger difficulties, relationship challenges, and mental health concerns related to health concerns. I am passionate about providing quality treatment to children, adolescents, families and adults.
A bit more about me! I am fairly new to the area as I moved to Pennsylvania from Southern Maryland in 2018 and have since enjoyed exploring the area and making PA my new “home.” Outside of work, I enjoy adventuring, exploring, and being active with my husband and daughter, listening to podcasts and audio books, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, cooking/baking, and hanging out at home with my family and our dog and four cats.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist currently seeing psychotherapy clients via telehealth and in the Lancaster office and provide evaluations in the Lancaster and Hershey offices. I received my undergraduate degree at Penn State University (We Are!) before moving on to attain my doctorate in clinical psychology with advanced proficiency in clinical neuropsychology from Immaculata University. Most of my training was spent working in and around Philadelphia (Go Birds!) with a wonderfully diverse group of people in terms of their lives, circumstances, and what brought them to seek treatment. I have been fortunate to have held positions at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Neuropsychology, Penn Memory Center, and Fairmount Behavioral Health System. My approach to treatment largely comes from a psychodynamic, attachment-based, and relational perspective; however, I have additional training and hold a certificate in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and tend to use aspects of various therapeutic modalities as they best suit treatment goals specifically tailored to your needs. I believe strongly in a collaborative approach to treatment. You are the expert in your life – I am here to help guide you in the process of uncovering your truth. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have identified trauma, mood, personality, and substance use disorders, and ADHD. I have also worked with individuals who have mental health concerns related to medical conditions such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and other neurodegenerative diseases. Currently, my clinical focus is individual therapy with clients 18 and older and providing testing and assessment, including both comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological batteries, to those age 7 and older.

Hi, I’m Julie. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Millersville University and my master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Alvernia University. I am working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I view therapy as a journey to self-discovery, healing, and growth in which I am privileged to be part of; you are the expert of your own life. I take an eclectic approach to therapy with a person-centered lens, truly believing that each person is unique in who they are and what they need to meet their goals. Some of the therapeutic modalities I employ include Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Experiential, and Spirituality/ Faith, as requested.
Much of my work thus far has been with Substance Use Disorders, Mood Disorders, Trauma, and Women’s Issues. I have worked in various inpatient and outpatient facilities throughout Berks, Lebanon, and Lancaster counties as well as working with Lebanon County as an evaluator, case specialist, and advocate for incarcerated individuals with Substance Use Disorders.
Away from the office I can be found enjoying the arts, especially dance, playing golf, watching baseball (Go Phillies!), exploring the outdoors, yoga, spending time with others, and pampering my four-legged best friend, Mia. I look forward to joining you on your path to restoration. Regardless of your story, you deserve the serenity that life has to offer. Dum spiro, spero [While I breath, I hope.]

Sabrina Case, M.A.
Licensed Professional Counselor Seeking Clinician
scase@thebhwa.com
Hello! My name is Sabrina, and I am a recent graduate from Alvernia University’s Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling program. Prior to completing this program, I completed my undergraduate degree at Alvernia as well, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. I am currently pursuing licensure in Pennsylvania as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I value authenticity and creativity most in the counseling process. Creating a strong rapport and therapeutic relationship with clients is important to me to not just help clients to achieve goals and move towards a place of healing, but also so that I can act as a source of support throughout the entirety of the therapeutic process.
I enjoy working with individuals of diverse cultures and backgrounds and place an emphasis on a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to treatment. My previous clinical experience included working with adults seeking therapy for a variety of mental health concerns as well as those coping with co-occurring mental health and substance use diagnoses. I employ a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities with an emphasis on a cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approach. As I mentioned above, creativity is important to me to tailor the treatment process to the unique needs of each individual. Incorporating the strengths and passions of clients into these evidence-based approaches allows for doing so.
In addition to my love of counseling, I enjoy spending time outside (the warmer the better!), reading, and crocheting.
